During my time as Social Media Lead EMEALA for the Education segment , I managed Elsevier's biggest annual paid & organic social media campaign for three consecutive years.
The campaign targeting medical and nursing students in their first year of study, driving them to various local language landing pages to download free content in the form of our PDF Med Student Survival Guide (top example) or direct to the iOS / Android app stores to download the app (bottom).
Working closely with our external agency partner and local market leads, I was instrumental in adapting our creative from the centralized campaign ensuring it met local market requirements in terms of local language, directing to the appropriate local landing pages / app stores etc. All campaigns followed a full funnel structure with Awareness, Engagement and Conversion phases.
I successfully managed a substantial budget ($850K), ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment across multiple regions, making use of various placement options available within Facebook and Instagram.
A more recent campaign I developed, deployed, monitored and optimized for Elsevier's Global Pharma segment was our Phyisicians Research campaign. Targeting our B2B audience via LinkedIn, this campaign was a combination of lead generation and thought leadership positioning.
Again following a full funnel approach I made use of a combination of awareness videos and engagement and conversion images to drive respondents to the landing page (which I also built).
Working with our external agency (HeyDigital) developed, executed and managed our first succesful paid social media campaign, making use of both LinkedIn and Reddit.
This campaign was for our VMC product, driving respondents to our newly designed landing page (which I also built).
The social media accounts listed below highlight my hands-on experience in managing and coordinating digital content. Whether I was directly handling these accounts or working behind the scenes, I made sure the right content went out at the right time. Often, this meant coordinating with different teams to ensure that central content was effectively localized to connect with specific audiences. This approach helped maintain brand consistency and boosted engagement across various regions.
